We are the father/daughter partnership of Robert and Shivaun Henderson. We offer our clients expert Financial and Insurance advice, as well as Lifestyle guidance.

The following is a favourite story of ours: a tourist in Japan visited a Shinto temple and, as convention required, left his shoes at the door. When he came to leave, he found that his shoes had been turned around 180 degrees, facing the right way for him to step into.
This is a wonderful example of infinite care being taken to consider a consumer’s needs. It is also the underlining client-service philosophy of The Henderson Team. We apply that level of foresight and care every day to how we interact, and anticipate, our clients’ evolving financial and life needs and concerns.
We help our multi-generational clients deal with the challenges of change that happen at every stage of life. From cradle to grave, we offer them guidance and support in making the right choices to reach their preferred futures.
Alice: Will you tell me please, which way I ought to go?
Cheshire Cat: That depends a good deal on where you want to go.
Alice:I don’t much care.
Cheshire Cat: Then it doesn’t matter which way you go!
(Excerpt from Alice Through The Looking Glass by Lewis J. Carroll)
The Financial Services & Insurance Marketplace is changing at an unprecedented rate, and consumers are increasingly confused by the options that abound. The range of alternatives can be bewildering, and Media coverage that alternates between doom-and-gloom scenarios and euphoric boom-without-end forecasts are just plain unhelpful. That is why we work hard to bring confidence to our clients, both in the products and services we offer and in the way we conduct our business.
In contrast to the quote above, we prefer to follow a quest set out by author Henry David Thoreau: Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined. We can, in fact, choose much of our future. We can live like Alice, or follow the ideas of Thoreau.
It has become obvious to us, over the past few years, that a shift in focus is already occurring as money takes a back seat to values, relationships, a search for a quality life, and especially for meaning. We must be prepared to act more as lifestyle architects, rather than as mere investment advisors. Investments and insurance are always important, but only as they relate to, and enhance, the life the Client has envisioned. They are a means to an end “ and the end is the individual’s dream ” at whatever stage of life they find themselves in.
